This is a great bike, especially for the price.
I use it primarily for short trips that I used to take in the car. It saves wear and tear on the car, not to mention gas. It also gets me out into the open air, which I like.
The product description says it goes a minimum of 15 miles with pedaling. I'm not sure what they mean by that, since without out the motor you could do the same. Maybe they mean pedaling to get it going before engaging the motor. The worst mileage I have ... Read More

i write this review because i feel the one star reviews are unfair. most of the complaints on here are half truths and not understanding. first of all, there is not much more the 1200$elctric bikes can do than this one.
electric bikes are not going to take you up large hills, futhermore these bikes in my opinion were not designed to be workhorses. i have rode an older model buy currie on a mongoose frame, i have rode it 4-7 times a week for about 2 years. for me its perfect, i live in new orleans, ... Read More

First it was back ordered for more than 2 months! Second they didn't tell me after 30 days amazon cancels the order, thus making me wait even longer!
Came shipped with a bent frame and chipped paint. northern tolls customer service sucks! Rode the bike for two weeks before it broke completely! A waste of my money and time! Do not spend the money on this, put down the extra hundred dollars and get a good mountain bike.

I bought this from wall mart. Remember you have to charge and discharge the battery 3 times before it works best. But It is so much fun to ride.
You press this button and it just zooms along for about 2 hours or may be 15 to 20 miles. I love it
