I barely got through a first listen to this awful cd; whiny, undeveloped vocals, cheap background accompaniment. Whatever happened to the Sarah I knew and loved? This is her latest? Did she sell out? This sounds like a cheap knock-off. One listen- now it's going to the donation pile for resale. I couldn't give this away.

So much talent, so much emotion. She is a wonderful singer with a whole lot of heart. I comend this woman for all she has acomplished in her life and the way she delt with such a horrible ordeal. My compliments to her on the ASPCA comercial containing the song "Angel". To this day it brings tears to my eyes and yes this is the reason I became a member! Praise, blessings and love to Sarah!

Sarah McLachlan is on of my favorite female vocalist, right up there with Loreena McKennitt and Aimee Mann. I bought this CD despite the reviews citing its poor audio quality. It really couldn't be that bad could it, I thought. Well it is that bad. It's unlikeable because of the terrible pitchy highs. Sarah deserved much better than this. Stay away from this one. You're much better off buying her original albums one at a time (if you get them used they are pretty cheap) and assembling your own list ... Read More

I have been a Sarah McLachlan fan for many, many years now. Her voice is incredibly soothing and her lyrics are always thought provoking. This album does a fabulous job of bringing together some of her best hits from even her earliest album and placing them alongside her most current releases. It definitely showcases the true Sarah style with a beautiful combination of music that won't disappoint.

This CD is exactly what you would expect from a greatest hits collection. All of her big songs are there, as well as some other gems and if you are new to Sarah this is a great start.
For me she has always been one of those few artists who are much better live than with all that studio polish. For that reason I still have to go with Mirrorball over this collection for the best picture of who she is as an artist.
