 Rating:  - smoketried chopping hard italian cheese,it started smoking. i have a cuisinart full size food processor for several years ,very satisfied. this mini prep is now not working.this cuisinart is now made in china.maybe their is the problem. Rating:  - Very Good ProcessorVery good for the size and price. Sometimes a couple of larger pieces are left, but it usually works really well! Rating: - At first it was great - then it was deadI bought this for making baby food and for about 3-months (not a very arduous task), it was a very handy tool. Then the motor began whirring loudly and sometimes it wouldn't run at all. I thought it was user error and that I just wasn't assembling it properly. Then I didn't use it for a few months, and when I took it out, it just plain didn't work anymore. Yes, it's not very expensive, but I would expect a Cuisinart product to have a life of more than a few months.
