But if you want to beat the summer heat and save on the air-conditioner, this is the one to buy. It has three levels to select and the price that it is offered at, it's the best bet...go ahead and buy it and say "No" to the heat.... On the floor it won't reach a bed or couch since the tilt will only go up so far. Also, it is very loud (louder than other fans I've owned). My biggest complaint is that it cannot be opened to be cleaned. The blades get very dusty and the front does not pop off to give access for cleaning..kind of disappointing.
