 Rating:  - updating cable modems is not painlessItem is not plug and play. If this a replacement for another modem you need to contact your cable company to synch the device. It also required resetting the wirless router which required calling the wireless router provider and if you are using VOIP it requires resetting the phone adapter to synch with the modem and router.
