This is a must have item. My Kindle goes everywhere with me, from the doctor's office, to the nail salon, plane, or just at home relaxing. Charging can sometimes be a problem, but with the power tip for the iGo, it is no problem at all. I use it a lot.

We have some iGo products already. (They work well for travel, the minimize the size of the adapters you have to carry.)

We purchased this with the Kindle. And it works just like you would expect it to.

I emailed this company, confessed my ignorance regarding my order, and asked a pretty simple question:
"OK, I'm an idiot. I have a Kindle, and I bought the iGo power tip for it (as suggested by Amazon), but didn't quite understand that I also needed an adapter. Bought this as a spare in case I misplaced/lost the original tip. It works great just as advertised


Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - iGo A00 power tip for kindle
Pros: Works great, does what I wanted it to do. 4 AA batteries will recharge or run your Kindle anywhere. It's much more convenient to carry than the AC charger, and with the extra tips available, it will charge other components.

Cons: My rechargable NiMH batteries (Duracell & Powerex) are a little too big (diameter), the cover won't fit right, but they work. Alkaline batteries fit fine.
